well i checked and double checked the master cylinder, fluid and checked the calipers after a 20 min drive and everything seems to be normal..fluid is not dirty, not leaking and not burning to touch..

however, i do believe its the heat that has something to do with that tranny problem.. everyday to work, 15 min trip, everything is normal, no troubles at all..just this 3 hour trip last sunday was the one that got it..its def the heat..

im leaning towards the fluid, let me change that to see whats up, at least if thats not the problem, theres no wrong in changing tranny fluid so..

agreed changing the fluids is good maintenance either way, so it definitely won't hurt.
