Hi, i'm new here and my english is not very good..

I think i'm gonna buy rear wing for my fd and i'm intresting for that erebuni carbon fiber wing no.490.. But i need some more picture in that, some very small pics in erebunis site not enough for me, so if you have some pics of that wing in your rx, please post it here or pm to me..

If you know any nice carbon fiber wings, please tell it here.. And not too expensives (+800 $)

You might find that most people dont care for any type of wing on the Rx7, aside from the stock 99 one.

 

I personally think the 99spec wing is one of the worst looking wings on FDs by FAR. It destroys the smooth lines and curves...takes away from the overall shape of the FD. It's too boxy. It looks a lot better on the WRX (it's essentially the same spoiler lol)

 

i hate the 99spec aswell..it has never grown on me. I love my R1 wing when i do chnage mine it will be the feed wing which almost looks the same but is a tad bigger and is very sleek and matches the body lines very well. Also functional

 

I liek the mazda speed GTc wing. Big, maybe but its smaller than all the others and it just fits the car perfectly if you have a rear diffuser, just look at the pic of the black FD on rotary extreme's site under rear diffuser.

 

I think there are tons of people who are interested in feed's wing.

 

I think (that's just me, no flames) FD's look better wingless, if you must put one on than go with the stock R1.

I like mine wing-less. The only real reason I like the 99 wing is becuase its just part of the whole 99 package which I like alot.

 

i had an r1 wing going into the paint shop.... now its wingless and my r1 wing has already been sold to a guy down in lower FL. i really like how clean no wing looks but i plan on getting a pro diffuser and well see how that looks wingless. i might have to get a wing to complement the diffuser.

 

I personaly don't care too much about the 99spec wing, don't love it, don't hate it.The R1 and the Feed spoilers are one of my favorites. As far as wingless I dont like it much I would go with something like this if your going for a wingless kind of look,, this looks sweet IMHO

i love the 99 spec wing mainly because it's not too high, and it's done tastefully. I love the over all shape of it, and makes it look awesome from behind..

why do many of you guys like the 99 R1 wings?

to me is ok but does not make a big impression. I'll either install wings from FEED, pan speed or mazda speed.

That one posted is pretty cool. It's like a Wangan wing, but not nearly as drastic or exagerated.

And as far as wings in general go, I think FD's look great with almost everything (99, wingless, whatever). Even perched wings (Like APR or Mazdaspeed) look really good if they aren't too high or outlandish.

 

that one posted looks like it may be an older amemiya peice. it does look fkin sweet, but i like the newer ones that have the round holes where the lights are. but 99s would make that look awesome.

anyone else play txr3? i think they have that in the game if im not mistaken


im also a big fan of wingless, but i gotta say i like the 99, feed, r1 and all those wings in their own way.

this guy think about getting a cf feed wing? that would look good...cost may be a bit higher, but like the cf centerpeice version would look great i bet.

And I'm w/ you guys. R1 wing looks great, and the clean no-spoiler look is very very nice. The rear of the FD is dead sexy

Bottom line, ANYTHING but 99spec in my book Put it back on the WRX you stole it from!!

Ramy, do you mean the 96-98 'whale tail' spoiler? I bought that at one time, but never mounted it. Now that's a dead ringer for the one on my scooby.
