Thumbs up I Need Mod Help & Information

I put a post up earlier, but wasn't specific enough. I've got a '93 touring with a new street-ported atkins rotary engine, and an HKS downpipe. There's a boost Gauge and an air/fuel mix gauge too. The boost gauge usually shows 8-11-8, and other times 6-9-6. when I shut off the car, the needle sits where it wants to, and if i tap it hard enough, it'll go to zero--F* it. The air fuel is always in the green-usually the third and fourth LED after the car warms up. I want to put a higher flow exaust system on it, but I'm not sure what parts exactly need to be replaced. People also say the ECU needs to be upgraded. I don't plan on running the turbos any harder than they are--is this necessary, and if so, how much does a reasonable one cost? I've got an aftermarket intake that came with the car, but I havn't put it on. It's my daily driver, so I don't want to do a bunch of shtuff to it that will be problematic in the future--perhaps just gain a few more HP. I'm to the point where I'd blow somebody if they told me anything reasonably specific (and rough cost) of the aformentioned items. thanks everyone...-BN

First off, try doing a search. Second, you will need an ecu, I recommend a used upgrade(M2, Pettit, etc.) for 300-500 dollars. If you want a midpipe you will also need some sort of boost control, costing anywhere from $2 for a needle valve, to several hundred for a top of the line electronic boost controller.

Ben, I'll show you where to go. You definately need an ECU($500) for safety sake and hp gains. Get a high flow cat($170), cat back exhaust($450), and install your intake after the ECU. Greddy Profec B($300) is the most simple easy to use Boost controller I've ever used and I loved it. If you go for a more expensive ECU like Apex'i($1100) or AEM($1300) then you could program boost from there up to 14psi. Good Luck. Drive it like you stole it and worry about the rest later. It can still be your daily drive, just a 12 sec daily driver. Nothing wrong with that.
