I am a potential buyer for a 94 rx-7....but it is a automatic. I was wondering how much do you think a transmission swap would go for....and is it worth it???

You need to start using the "SEARCH" function on here...a lot of newbie questions can be answered by doing so!

 

Unless the price is right I would say no.

 

Are you swapping it or is someone else going to be paid for the job?

If the former, budget maybe $1500. If the latter, call some shops (Pettit) and ask for a quote.

Some owners do this swap and are very pleased with the results. Personally, if you're in the position to buy, buy a manual outright.

Don't do it. There are plenty of manual FDs to choose from out there. Just keep watching Ebay and Autotrader.
