I need help with what injectors I need

Ok my mods are in my sig. People have been telling me different things about what injectors I need. Some have told me bigger primaries and others have said just secondaries. I really don't know anything about the subject other than knowing I need to upgrade something. Can someone who knows what they are talking about please fill me in on what a good set-up for me would be. I have also heard something about needing a rising rate regulator and maybe even a different fuel rail? I'd like to know everything I need and also where a good place to get them would be. Also I may be upgrading to a big single turbo in the future so I'd like to get all my fuel needs done now. Thank you in advance for all the help.

Go to RX7.com and go to the fuel section with the fuel calculator. It uses injector duty cycles and ecu controlled duty cycles so you can play with the numbers. The hp is measured at the flywheel not rwhp. Usually 1200cc secondaries are plenty for the heavily modded FD but a single at high boost should probably go with atleast 1300 if not 1600cc although you might get some hesitations with 1300cc injectors and up in the midrange. Larger primaries can support the hp but can result in poor idle. You'll definitely need a rising-rate fuel pressure regulator if you go single or over 15 psi on stock turbos (should have one to be safe even at 14-15 psi) Fuel rail is for serious hp and probably not needed with your setup. I'd say 1300cc secs for you if you're going single one day.

Barry, thanks a lot. Say if I was to go with 1600s right now...what would be the problem with that. Would that cause me to run rich or have a bad idle or something? I'm just asking because I'm looking to have a pretty high hp car by the time I'm done and if I could use the 1600s now I could avoid putting new ones in when I get the single. PLease let me know if that would be a bad idea though...thanks.
