remove the elbow, four 10mm nuts and disconnect it from the intercooler hose/pipe.

you'll need a new o-ring, call Ray at Malloy Mazda, 888 533 3400. He owns an FD, just describe to him what you need.

That TBM gasket is an expensive little bitch, around $30 if my memory serves. One CAN do a ghetto fix and use a little blue silicone gasket maker along with the old 'O' ring, but it is ALWAYS best to get a new gasket.

Yeah, the leak around the TB is due to a bad or missing O-ring on the throttle body entrance. They do cost more than you'd think, but it's definitely a good idea to replace it. To install the new one, clean the O-ring passage out with brake cleaner or the like so it's clean and grease-free. Put some clear RTV silicone into the groove, then work the O-ring in. The RTV will hold it in place over time.

I do sell replacement Viton check valves - set of 4 for $15 shipped, which is cheaper than 1 new one from Mazda. Head here for more info -

I dont think the o-ring is that high but Ray did hook me up with it, he also sent me a clock and some other stuff in a box that made it like an easter egg hunt to find!
