do you not have insurance? claim it, pay 500 or 1000, have it fixed. I didnt read if you stated that it was claimed total or if you dont have insurance.

I don't want to thread jack from this guy (who needs attention on finding parts). I didn't pay for ****. My insurance did, and the body shop got everything form the dealer. Some stuff came from Japan. This happened last year though.

FOR KYRX7
You're better off finding used parts regardless of color. We do need to see pix to even think about what needs replacement. I WOULD CONSIDER doing what iceman4357 suggested about notifying your insurance. It really depends on the amount of damage.

THAT'S NOT HIS CAR! Should I take the photo off? It's confusing everyone. You need to post your photos soon.

Sorry to hear about this. I do have an offer for you, I have my OEM radiator sitting in my garage (replaced with a koyo). I will make you a deal on it to try and help you out. If you pay for the shipping I will GIVE you the radiator... It is in good shape. PM if you are interested.

Here's a pic:
I don't see how this is $10,000 worth of damage! Thank God you were'nt the one that paid for it.
The person that started this thread, if it's already paid off, don't sell it bro! My car has been sitting almost 8 years now! You sure there's no damage to the fender (s)? I figure if the lights got hit that they would've pushed into the fenders. Is it maybe the front bumper got pushed into the lights? If I remember right, I have a stock radiator that I'm not using. You can have it, just pay for shipping. I have a friend that may have a set of headlights.

Lets just say a lot of brand new OEM parts from the dealer and expensive labor. The price for total cost was from my insurance and I just checked it and is actually not $10,000.

Here:
Collision Closed $8,514.96
Rental Reimbursement Closed $832.02

My advice to the guy who started the thread Mr. Hijackers is this.
I would strip off the damaged crap from the car. See where your at and then price out the parts. Price out the labor too if you don't know how to fix it. Then if it costs more to fix it than you can afford. Then it sounds like you would have to sell it. Common sense should tell you this.
I'd like to see a photo of the car that was actually wrecked.

My advice to the thread starter:

1. You are an idiot for crashing your car in this manner. I really don't understand why this has not been pointed out already.

2. You are an idiot for asking how much it will cost to repair your car when you have no idea how extensive the damage is. Take your car to a reputable body shop for an estimate.

3. You are an idiot for crashing your car in this manner.

4. You are an idiot for buying a car that you can't afford to repair or insure.

5. You are an idiot for crashing your car in this manner.

Ya know that may be the case that he's an idiot for the above reasons....and I'm sure he feels stupid already.... but the past three posts were neither informative or helpfull in any manner, you're an idiot for wasteing your time writing that... if I were you I'd ask god for that minute or two back, luckily I'm at work getting paid to write this otherwise I wouldn't have written this.
Come on he was just asking for some help, and we've all been there, granted he should know what it costs to play with his toys!

lol I keep this site up all day long at work waiting for good deals to come along in the sell section, I troll these forums while I'm wasteing time, and try to help where I can, I'm just tired of seeing soooooo many posts with a bunch of flaming, it really gets annoying. Then again it's either laugh at the humor and uniqueness of some of the flames or actually do work.

You can get an idea of what parts are going for in the wanted/for sale section. Stock radiator should be next to nothing and lost of people that have gone to fixed position head lights sell the stockers cheap, Fenders aren't bad and hoods can be had cheap as well. The shipping for the large parts is what gets expensive.

AdamC's post was justified. I don't even own a FD (i can only afford a FB right now), but these kinds of threads are aggrivating (sp?) and clutter the forum. It's like the dumbshits that are like "how much boost will a stock FD 13bre take?", or "what should I do to my car first?" This thread boils down to stupid people doing stupid **** in a car they can't afford to own. I am a firm believer that if enough people give stupid people enough ****, they will finally step back and say "wow, it's not just one person being a dick, everyone is saying that i'm a ******* moron, and I need to change my actions."

You said yourself that you're a troll in a later post, so please don't attack/get pissed at AdamC, who is a very respected member of this forum.

If you decide to fix the car... I have a passenger fender, hood, oem radiator (39k miles on it, great shape) and a drivers side headlight assembly for sale. We are both in KY so you could come pick them up.

PM me if you decide you want to do this...

Good luck on fixing your FD!
