Thanks a lot! I'm surprised I had the patience to finish the job.. I enjoy doing things to my car, but I'm glad it's done because it really wasn't fun..

I used an angle grinder with a sanding disc and after that i used a disc with sponge on it to get an even smoother finish (see link) to sand the parts of it that are easily accessible.. The parts where the angle grinder couldn't get to I used a dremel tool to sand those parts down to a smoother finish. Once I had done that I started sanding the whole UIM by hand with 100 grit water-paper then 400 grit and then 600 grit. Once i was finished sanding I used a buffing wheel to finish it off to a polished look. this took me quite a while to do and once you start you cant stop..
