i have a chassis question
well i had two bad motor mounts so i made some new ones with 65 derometer neoprene. any way i still have the same problem just not as bad. if i dump the clutch without spinning the tires the transmission twists so far that it bangs up against the trans tunnel. are there any other mounts that i should check. i took a quick glance underneith it and i could not see any other mounts.
thanks for the help.

no it is acually just a pinch lower than stock. also if i pull a really tight turn like starting a donut it will do the same thing. one more thing and sorry if it sounds dumb but what do you mean by ppf?

Are the motor mounts stiff as stock ? sounds like they are flexing to much. An engine torque brace is not a cure but might help .I think you need stiffer pads in the motor mounts. If you want a torque brace ,PM me for info

Your tranny shouldn't be moving.
There is a rail under the car that bolts to the frame. It holds the rear of the tranny in place, and goes all the way back to the rear end. It act to stabilize the drive train.
I suggest that you put the car on jack stands, and get under there. I believe there are 8 studs with nuts on them. Make sure they are all tight. You will need a 21 mm deep socket with a long extension.
If these are all tight, you have another problem.

well ichecked it out and there are no cracks and all the nuts are tight. how likely is it that the bushings for the diff are toast? i didn't see any tears or cracking in them though.
