I gutted my car!!

I've gone nuts,I gutted my car and installed the 6 point CUSCO roll cage I must say the cage is very nice and well engineered, now my doesn't have any interior except for the dash and the door panels.I'll post some pix when done with the clean up.

I think this was one of the 1st mods I did. I Literally got rid of everything except the dash/door panels. It looks SO bare back there, but I could tell a slight acceleration difference in the midrange. Plus now I don't have to worry about spilling coke on my "rug"

Ive been thinking about doing this and having the whole interior repainted. Taking the carpet out and everything. Im sick of my ten year old panels rattling and all the clips and screws im missing.

My car came in black, so the interior actually doesn't look that bad.

i heard somewhere that the cusco 4-6 point roll cage is made of aluminum and is not functional in the safety department.

hence that is why it cannot be used at track events.

is this true?

I've been look at roll cages but many of them limit seat travel. I'm pretty tall so this is a problem. So far the M2 looks good but its kinda high. Does the Cusco limit seat travel?

I was thinking of having a custom cage made, but it's almost the same price as the Cusco. I might just go with that one, especially knowing that the cage has a good fit. There's no telling what that one will look like when they're done making it.

Don't you have to modify the turn singal stalk??? I was thinking of taking all the stuff out of the back, but figured it would look kind of ghetto, do you have tinted windows?
I don't think chicks would dig it, hows the extra cabin noise?
Weight savings? Can you catch any $hit from the poo poo for not having that stuff back there?
