I gotta fu kin' idea....

Why trhe hell do I have to portr my wastegate, why can't I add on an external wastegate? GHranted, I'd be regulated to whatever psi the wastegate psring is set to, but then I wouldn't have to port it, which is a pain in the ***, which is why I don't do it. I should've done it to begin with when I switched out with some Pettit twins, but I was a noob and didn't know I should've ported it. ****! Takin' them bitches out is a pain in the ***. Wish somebody was nearby that could help. Okay, that is all. Woudl an exteneral wastegate help? Discuss. I'm drunk as hsit.

Yes it would help. Unfortunately the cast iron exhaust manifold is nearly impossible to effective weld or place and exernal wastegates on.uck it up, remove the twins, port the wastegates and be done with it.

Only one person on this forum has ever claimed to have been able to weld on an external wastegate to the stock twin turbo manifold and that person was never able to supply pictures (i.e. it was BS).

You would think that if it was a good idea, it would have been done already.

Not true at all, any good welder can do it, you have to preheat to Cherry red, use a high nickel rod, and do a post heat to allow it too cool properly, and not crack. The turbos would have to come off either way likely.
