I've bought the greddy intake elbow from rx7 store and while under my hood fixing to put it i noticed line coming off the back of the stock elbow. I searched and i found out it was a recirculating valve line? Is it okay to leave this line off the thread didn't say . I also have the pettit racing intake so does it anyway have an effect on this.

 

2 options:

1. remove and cap off that line over near the UIM
2. get something welded into the elbow to support use of that line

That's the AWS system...most people just plug up the line...like I did but if you have a stock ECU not so sure if you could..search AWS and you will find your answer..

 

I drilled & tapped mine. Used a 1/2" brass nipple from Lowes.

 

You could sell me the greddy elbow and I'll send you my stock one.

 

I searched aws and found some anwsers / I'll just upgrade to power fc.
In fact i bought the elbow on sale the stock looking elbow and they told me it was on back order i'd get it a couple weeks well to make a long story short they sent me the wrong one they sent me the boss injector one for the same price as the stock elbow AND IT WAS ON SALE!!
