I figured out my cars problem!!!!

Alright guys i figured out why my car revs so fast, you see you remember when i said that with partial throttle my revs go up very quickly and even at partial throttle i can go up to 150 mph in 5th gear, its not the clutch or anything it is in fact the midpipe. You see i have a free flowing exhaust system, the engine is breathing much better so it will rev at a higher speed, which is resulting in my car to rev up so quickly with tap on the throttle. That is also a reason why i'am hitting fuel cut so quickly, like at 45000 to 5000rpm in 3rd, 4th, 5th, i dont have my upgraded fuel pump and ecu, so the engine isnt getting more fuel!!!! now remember my bad race against my friend with the mustang on the highway? well i lost because when pushing the throttle hard the car wasnt getting the excess fuel it needed with the already free flowing exhaust flow, so that was why i was getting so much fuel cut!!! and the car wouldnt produce more power! this car is ****** amazing man, i cant wait to see how its going to go with an ecu and bigger fuel pump, when i raced the mustang on the highway i was giving the car a tap on the throttle and he was punching the life of his mustang and he only was half a car length ahead!! i would have smoked the **** out of his car if i had the proper fuel requirments. The car is amazing enough to go ****** 150 mph with just a tap into the throttle!!!!! So if i take the midpipe off then i could probably give full throttle and make the engine work to its full capacity with the right fuel requirments with only two mods and i wil probably smoke that mustang boy for good!!! but i think i will keep the midpipe on because it will cut the work of the engine in half and make power in half the time which, means a free flowing system with, with less heat generated in producing power making longer engine life!!!!!!! good diagnoses or what!!!!!!!

your gonna blow up your engine sky high. i recommend keeping your revs slow and partial throttles until you get your fuel management upgrade. there's a rule of thumb, 2 or more upgrades= upgraded ecu. until then, i do agree with you that you should keep your midpipe, since it will keep your engine cooler. just dont run into situations that will make your engine lean out, good luck

VERY long post...

2 Key notes...

1. Your engine will go boom without fuel...

2.

sorry, I just had to use that pic. Ok, get an ecu b4 you put that midpipe back on (if you have taken it off). If you start seeing spikes upward 13-14 psi you are seriously about to blow your motor. Be careful and she will last longer

When you say you hit fuel cut at 4500-5000, this concerns me. If it is computer controlled fuel cut there is something else wrong. The computer sees the engine RPM exceeding a factory set point causing the fuel injector to stop feeding so the engine does not exceed mechanical limits. I do not think that it has anything to do with how much fuel you are feeding. Now you will reach a fuel cut if you do not have enough fuel or enough pressure. This does sound like your problem and it will blow your engine if you don't get this resolved. Make sure your car is running right before putting the computer upgrade. If there is something else wrong, you will think it is the computer and it is not. Get the car to run right first. Change the fuel filter before you do anything else.

The stock ecu will cut fuel to the rear rotor when the boost exceeds the factory programmed limits. With an open exhaust and no boost restrictions, the boost will climb into the 12-14 psi range. This exceeds the factory limits and the ecu cuts fuel. This is why people upgrade to stand-alone computers or get their ecu reprogrammed.
