Thanks, it is Titanium, so it has always been kinda dull, doesn't quite have the same shine as polished SS. does that make a difference?
Pretty much any bare metal can be polished or at least brightened up with the stuff. And it'll scrub off the carbon on the tip(unless you like the look). In a pinch, a soapy SOS pad will work also.
Many people neglect the lower rear of their cars under the bumper line, which is highly visible from tailing drivers.

that is one of the sicker FD's i've seen in a while.

you should paint the front lip vintage red to match and you'd be off the scales with illness!!

clear out ur exhaust so u spit flames also,
thats another killer fd trait, hehehe.

Cool man,
I live in palo alto!!

Dont suppose I could get you to tell me where you work,
so I can swing by some time and check out your car in person?
I used to have a MB fd, and havent seen any nice ones in real life in a while.

Hehe, I attached some pics of my FD

very nice job man. I'm an auto detailer myself while I'm in college. Once you get it down pat its pretty fun. Those pictures make me miss my R1 front spoiler
I don't think there are that many people out there that really know how to detail a car. Got 65k on my car and people constantly ask me how and why it is so clean. I buff it only when it needs it, but wash it once a week and apply two coats of wax to it. It's nice to have access to unlimited detail products that the shop offers.
Take it easy man, good job!

BigRed: first of all, your car looks awesome; makes me wish I never painted mine silver. The rims look great as well- you got the offset just right and rolled the fenders And lastly, that site http://www.properautocare.com that you gave for the clay bar is absolutely AWESOME. Shiet, they have every imaginable detailing item on there: exterior, interior and engine bay. I put that site in my favorites. Thanks for the info dude

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year,
Tom

Doing it yourself is the only way to go, for a couple of reasons.
1) it makes you appreciate your car even more, and the job you do.
2) Do you really want anyone else touching your car?
3) You know exactly what is done and how it can be improved upon

Give yourself plenty of time though. and don't half *** it. Belive me, each time you get better and better at it. You'll continuously refine your process.

uh.. side turn blinkers? are you talking about the ones just infront of the door on the fender? if so, those weren't on FD's untill 99 right? I belive anyone in the USA who has them have installed them after the fact.

Didn't detail the engine bay.. also there's nothing worth looking at that you can't see by looking under your hood..(yet) or used to see by looking under your hood rather (nice mods)
