I search to see if anybody had tried this upgrade and notice any difference or advantage. But I found nothing so here it is. I want to know if this is worth $120 upgrade plus $45 for extra long cable since my battery has been relocated to my back seat.
According to XS-engineering they dyno an FD3S with the cable and gained 14hp on the top end.

Most likely, you will see results with the wires only because so many 3rd gens have grounding problems. There is no way, however, that this mod is worth the money. First of all, you can probably get the same results simply by cleaning your ground points. If you really want thicker guage grounds though, you can make your own from high quality wires.

What's is the difference between 2 and 4 gauge (stranded copper)wire? And which one of the gauges is better to use going from the ground to my battery which has been relocated to the back seat.

A couple of millimeters in thickness. Triple the cost.
Thicker is always better, but there is a point where you get diminshing returns, not to mention the additional expense.
Any multi-strand copper wire (buy it at Ace by the foot) is as good as it gets. Just make sure your terminals are of equal quality copper (Ace again), buff the mounting points to bare metal and use "star" washers on both sides that bite into the metal when tightening the bolt/nut. I always solder my crimps just for grins. Put a little sleeve of 3M heat shrink tubing (it comes in black, red, blue, yellow and white at electronics supply stores) over it BEFORE you crimp for the finishing touch. Slide the tubing over the terminal collar and use a heat gun to shrink it for a tight fit. A flame will do but you have to be carefull not to burn it.
Badabing, you have excellent quality cables for 1/5 what they are commercially sold for.

I've went both routes. First time round I went to the car stereo shop and got myself a huge ground from the battery to the car. Made a slight differnce.
Next, I bought the Sun ground kit from Jason (RX7 store) and noticed a LARGE differnce. Cleaned the car up big time. Night and day difference. The kit comes with 7 grounds. As we all know, the stock ground system in the 7 sucks. I replaced the stock grounds as well as adding one from the block to the body of the car. I was skeptical at first, but it does work.

i like the kit, for me, my time was worth the cost of having very nice pre-made groud wires in a kit like this...and they are very high quality wires and look great in the engine bay
