god damnit and all the "search" posts this is a very easily answered question so why be a lazy bitch...

now back on subject you can go about many ways to unflood the easiest would probably be pulling the main egi fuse in the engine bay and cranking the car for a while then putting it back and trying to start repeat 3 or 4 times and if that doesnt work then do the atf trick...pull and clean plugs then pour some auto tranny fluid into the housings put everything back and that should start it. it will smoke like a diesel but it should start...

to perfect mr.z4csl428's post, after you pour the atf or motor oil into the spark plugs, pull the egi fuse again and then crank it over and this burns it off and then put the plugs back in and start up the car wit hthe fuse in, it will work.

I wasn't being a dick-head. It would have taken you half the time to find the answer that it did to start this thread and wait for the answer. So, next time you want to ask a question that's been answered 1,000,000 times, don't be surprised if you get a similar answer. (now I'm being a dick-head)

That's a bad idea. All that's gonna do is fill the engine with more fuel and it will be flooded again. If the engine was flooded to start with, then you know you're getting fuel, unless for some unforseen reason, the pump quit working; in which case you need to do a fuel pressure test. The ATF helps to build compression. After you put the ATF in the engine, I wouldn't crank it over until you have the plugs in, EGI fuse in, and ready to fire. If you hold the pedal down while cranking initially, you can hear the engine building compression back. Then release the accelerator and it should fire up. You may have to actively keep the car running for a moment or two while the ATF is being burnt. (i.e. it will run like **** for a moment, white smoke, etc....)

i have a new problem...its not flooded....its not even getting any fuel....i took the pump out, and hooked it straight to the battery, it works, all the relays are clicking when i turn the key, i left the feeder line to the motor off of the pump, turned the key, tried to crank the car, and no gas came out.....not sure what the deal is there....like i said, i hooked the pump straight to a battery and it worked....

Just because the pump works out of the car does not mean that it is working under pressure. Also, the fuel filter could be clogged solid

Put a fuel pressure guage on the output line and see what you are getting
