How to test if my igniter is getting signal from ECU?
How to test if my igniter is getting signal from ECU?
Is there any way to test if my igniter is getting a signal from the ECU? I checked the shop manual and didn't find much...
Thanks!

brad, is this for your haltech? hows the project comming anyway?
here is the way it should be set up: check your work.
picture the igniter on its side with the wires facing to the right. the one unused wire spot at the bottom. top wire being pin A
A= dig out 2 (blue)
B= neg side of trailing 1 (will be your front rotor)
C= dig out 1 (white and black)
D= connect this to a switched 12v source.
E= neg on trailing 2 (rear rotor)
F= haltech's ign out (its the lt green wire)
G= to the negative of the leading pack
H= gets no connection
in the setup page set it like this.
output type: constant charge
output edge: falling
time: 3ms
type: rotary
spark mode: direct fire
i had a problem with this when i first hooked it up but this is seems to work fine. PM me if you have a question. hopefully i can help.
