How to take off Center Console???

How do you take off the center console??
NOT the armrest where Shifter and ashtray is.
Thats simple..
The cluster with the TEMP and Airconditioner
*****... I have never taken that apart.
I would hate to F*ck around and break my
*****.

Is there a certain way to take those *****
OFF and take the panel off??

I am considering trying to Carbon Fiber film
the armrest ( which is scratched to death)
and the centerconsole..

If anyone has pics of that already done on their
FD3S, it would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Okay, no....don't just pull. The ***** don't have to come off to take the HVAC panel off. First thing you have to do is pop up the center part where the shifter is. Next there are two screws at the base of the HVAC panel. Unscrew those. Next, you will have to pull out your gauge cluster a little bit. Put one hand towards the back of the gauge cluster, and one at the front. Slowly wiggle it up and down while gently pulling. You only need it to come out a lil bit. Once the gauge cluster is out a couple inches you'll see there is one more screw holding the HVAC panel on. Its on the left side. Unscrew it. Now, the panel should pull out with the ***** and everything attached. If you want to take it completely out, you'll have to undo the electrical connections. I think there are four of em. That should do it!
