How to run/deal with new engine, that wasn't running for a few months
I bought new 13BRew engine from Mazda one month ago, and now it will probably wait for 3-4 months to be installed in the car. There is also quite big possibility, that this engine stood in the warehouse for couple of months... So it will be probably an 6-12months old engine, that will be installed.
So I'm thinking, is there anything I should be careful with, when running this engine? Should I take any caution about anything? I heard that, the seals lubrication might be a problem. Can I do anything to reduce this problem?
Thanks for answers!

alot of engines sit for years and are fine.
before i try to start a fresh engine i usually put a bit of oil or ATF fluid to help it out (compression).
There's not a lot you can do besides prime the oil system.
