how to run A/C and standalone

The car I am buying this week has Electromotive TEC3 and has 100% of the a/c installed but supposedly it needs the stock ecu to work with the a/c

Is this a common problem on FD's because I want to know what I need to do to get A/C back in the car.

To work the A/C you can cut a couple wires at the harness and splice them together. This bypasses the ECU control of the A/C so the circuit is basically power through the switch and to the compressor.

A search in the PowerFC forum will turn this one up but it should be the same I would think
