how to remove taillight spoiler

so I have a carbon spoiler stuck to all three taillights with double sided tape. normally I would use goo gone but I am afraid of messing up the plastic on the taillights. what's the method you guys use? fishing line?

I'd love to see a solution too.

I had one taped to just the center section. I tried acetone and goo gone. It would not release.

I ended up using a thin blade after softening the tape with the solvents. It finally let go, but I gouged the center section plastic pretty bad. Bought another as a stock replacement.

Taping it to the tails would make it impossible to remove any of the 3 light components.

I would use fishing line to get the spoiler off then use some sort of solvent like Goo Gone and a rag. Maybe also use a plastic razor blade if you need to scrape some of the adhesive off.
