How to remove FB taillight assembly--Right side for antenna swap

I'm trying to swap the power antenna with a rubber fixed unit, as some jackass punk bent the mast over--Thanks for leaving it up, Mazda engineers! Anyhoo, this FB has been whacked in the taillights by a Dodge van, so while they are intact, they are cracked and the surface they are screwed into has been pushed back closer to vertical.

I took off the right-side lense to see where the screws were. I saw 3 holes that looked like good screw-hole candidates, but after poking around in them with a screwdriver for 15 minutes I failed to locate one: even allowing for the screws not being on the same plane as they were before the Dodge van incident.

I searched, but didn't find anything. I'm guessing that's because the screws are normally easy to locate. My Haynes and factory manual are in my wife's trunk, so I can't see if they have anything useful to say. I'm gonna go see what can be done from inside the hatch.

TIA,

Tailamp assembly

It's removed from the inside of the car. Remove the trim around the hatch area.
Behind that is the inside holder for the assembly. It is fastened in place by approx
8 nuts that take a 10mm socket, remove all those, disconnect the eletrical connector to the assembly and pull the lense assembly out the back. rx7doctor
