Can anyon help, i was quite happily plodding alongh in my rx7 and decided to see what my baby could do, i was accelerating in fith gear and it was pulling astonishingly, but all of a sudden i got to the 112mph mark and the speed restrictor kicked in.

Can anyone advise me on what needs to be done in order to get the resrictor removed? or does anyone know of a web site that can help?

that a bit odd,,,,because i presume you got a kmp to mph speedo,,,, and normally that speedo convertor come with a de-restrictor,,,, find a UK company that sells the speedo/restrictor convertor,,, i think ther about 45 pounds,, (try this one import solutions phone number- 01934 417222 )

 

You need an aftermarket ECU.
