Japanese Imports are restricted to 112 mph, I was wondering how to de-restrict so that they can go faster (not that I really want to).

Aftermarket ECU (so-called PCM UK-side) will remove it. If you search for 'speed limiter' you will find some old discussions of fiddling with ECU wires, though the evidence is mixed. US FDs don't have this limiter.

Given the amount of speed cameras in the UK, can you even find somewhere to go over 100 mph without losing you licence is five minutes?

You're probably right about the cameras, but I've got TomTom which comes in very handy from time to time. Cheers for the advice mate.

Hello guys, I'm in the middle of installing a 20B motor in my fd and thought I would ask if anyone knows of an ecu that will work with this. I know of the electromotive, motec and microtech ecu that are on the market but I am told they will not support the oil metering pump?? is this true and if so is there an alternative???

might want to head over to the 20B forums to search for those questions, they'll be able to help a lot more than us simple 13b-rew suckers .

it would prove useful to get better aquainted with the different forums and the FAQ's that have been compiled over the years, they are very useful and in most cases will answer just about any question you have to ask. If they don't answer it they will get you much more prepared to do a successful search.
