how to remove and replace rear upper control arm?

Is there anything really technical about it? Do I need special tools. A general step by step would be nice.

thanks

1: Get a Mazda maintenance manual.

It tells how and even has pictures.

Normal tools is all that is needed, plus a jack.

Thanks,

I dont have a manual and prefer not to spend 75 bucks for it.

I'm sure someone has done this and would not mind telling me how, thanks!

If ya don't want to get the FSM, I am sure you can figure it out by looking at the thing. If you can take something apart and put it back together I am sure you will be fine

You shouldn't use the same cuss work more than once in the same sentence. Doing so shows a true lack of vocabulary.

Three of us basically chimed in and said not to worry about it, it isn't hard. We figured you were smart enough to look at it yourself and figure it out.

I guess we were wrong.

Jack up car and remove wheel.

Remove lower strut through bolt from upper a-arm.

Remove upper strut mounting nuts and remove strut.

Remove upper mounting bolt from upright.

Remove inner mounting bolt from upper arm.

Remove arm.

Install is the reverse of removal.
