yeah, yank the y-pipe on the turbos, it'll be a tough squeeze and you need to replace the LIM->engine gasket

you'll also need to replace the UIM->throttle body gasket, but the LIM->UIM you can keep

Why not try the Factory Workshop Manual first then come back for help with specific questions? People are not answering because of such a borad question. Yes, the turbos have to come off.

My UIM-TB gasket was metal, i.e. it could be re-used. Only paper gaskets or badly flaked metal gaskets need to be replaced. I don't know about the LIM-Engine gasket.

Why in the world would you polish the LIM? When the engine is completely assembled you can't see the LIM.

Depending if you have a lift or not, You'll need to take off the intake pipes, DP, y-pipe, heat shields around the various turbo areas. oil return lines, water lines...being careful not to bend the lines to much. becareful when you start to take the bolts on the turbo manifold. Use some penetrating oil or WD 40 and let it soak in. Then use a cheater bar to turn it slowly making sure not to go to fast or the bolts might snap off from all the heat cycling and then your in for a mess of tapping and drilling which is hard to do.
