I'm trying to remove the airbag/horn wiring harness that sticks out of the bottom of the clockspring, and goes through the steering wheel.

I am deleting my airbag and horns so I would rather just unplug this harness from the clockspring and clear up the wiring clutter inside the steering wheel.

My question is, I can't seem to remove this small black connector and I don't want to yank on it. Is there another way or trick to remove it?

Bump any body have any ideas?

 

Except it is, for some reaason... I still haven't been able to remove it. Only pulling on it doesn't work, and I can't see any locking tab to depress or anything. I feel like I'm going to snap it off the clockspring entirely if I keep yanking.
