How to pad driver door armrest?

I'm tall, when I have the seat all the way back, my left arm rests on the driver door 'armrest'... the hard plastic peice... anyone ever pad this? It hurts my boney elbow!

so it rests on that little compartment door? you could get some wide single sided foam tape and cover it with that... may look ratty after a while though.

Well until my hyperactive metabolism slows down...

& it's not the compartment door... its the support peice right next to the door (towards the hatch)... that the door attaches to

& No offense... but I don't want something that looks like crap... I'd rather have a sore elbow...

get some foam sheet, glue that on to the section, then wrap in black vinyl so it looks oem. u can get everything u need from a craft shop.
