That's kind of what I meant except that I think a 13 second car is pretty damn fast. I think if you are responsible, then this is a good car to learn with because you learn how to correct and oversteer. Then once you learn this you can start to have a little fun. I also agree with you other guys at the same time because I think 240sx's, miatas, and FC are great cars to learn on too.

I'm not going to lie, the current build I am on will put the car in a place where if you abuse and don't respect the car it will kill you very quickly. Being responsible and not putting yourself in a position where you are driving beyond your personal capabilities.
For a learner car I could not think of a better car than a Miata or Boxster S. those are two of the most forgiving cars I have ever driven and don't have enough power to easily get you in trouble unless you have an insane entry speed into a corner.

21, married, and an F-16 crew chief in the USAF. Fell in love with FDs several years ago when I started researching them. Always wanted to turn a wrench on one after trolling this forum for about 2 and a half years. Bought my 93 touring with 39k on it and have since put $3000 into in reliability mods and several new oem parts. Love this car. Sometimes I think my wife thinks I love it more then her. But that's not true!!! :P
This car is honestly the fastest car I've driven, but not by any means comparable to anything I've been in or worked on. Grew up on late model GM and LS series being pounded into me and someone how bought a civic as my first car

I am 19 now, I have had my fd since I was 17. Its a fun car no doubt, currently working a single turbo setup.
I am a welder/ fabricator mostly do automotive stuff, have about 12k in mods on the car.

47 years old. Have owned 7 FD's over the years. Have (3) currently, but one will be put up for sale 2Q this year. My first rotary was in 1981 -- a Sunrise Red, 4-speed, RX-2 Coupe. In high school both my best friends also owned RX-2's. One white. One blue and my red car. We used to cruise "Speedway" (actual street name) in Tucson, AZ on Friday and Saturday nights. We caught a lot of crap from the piston guys. Been hooked on rotaries ever since.
Have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Work in the Chemical Industry. Currently the Maintenance and Reliability Leader for some major capital projects being built for the company I work for.
Haven't kept track of what I have spent over the years, but am currently acquiring parts to put a new motor with single turbo in my CYM.

24 years old currently in school for high performance cars and welding. Bought a rx7 when i was 18. Blew it up and started learning how the rotary works from there out. Best way of learning things is to fix it yourself. My vert is currently going threw another 13b-rew swap just gonna take my time setting it up this time (quality parts) =D

Im 26, Currently in school taking business Accounting /private business/ bodyshop for spare time, I put 7~8G every year on my rx7 , Bought stock BB FD 3 years ago when i was 23, I remember waking up in the middle of the night just to stare at my fd when i first got it, First car i bought was Acura 2005 rsx when i was 18.. which i use for everyday drive.

30 yrs old, manufacturing engineer. Not sure how much I spend on it in 1 yr.......some thousands right now....but will taper off here shortly....since the car is almost set up to where I want it.

34 years old. Had my 95 for 12 years this July. Spent $20,000 on it so far(not including the car). Had 16,266 miles on it whe I bought it, now has 54,000. I am a havc mech for a living. Still luv this car!!

The first year i probably spent around 3000,pfc,rebuilt twins,pillowballs,rb exhuast, to get it up and running properly, the other two years id say close to 1000 a year,(tires, pfs springs, rear seats, stereo,tie rod ends,ect) ive kept the car fairly close to stock, and havnt planned any major upgrades yet,(no gt35R yet!)
