looking to get the best deal on a mazda reman, how much did you pay and where? thank you all.

 

Ray at Malloy Mazda. About $2200.

 

Malloy Mazda's list for a reman is $2762.60. You may get a discount of 10% - 15% or so, depends on the mood of Ray I guess....lol. I didn't pay list, but it was close to it. But then again, this engine was for an automatic, maybe they are a tad more due to the rear iron being different.

Then you get to decide if you want to have a rotary expert tear the engine down and spec it out, make sure you've got all the right pieces in all the right places, do some mod work....

 

when I got mine it was a tad under $2000 from Ray. But this was like 3 years ago so its probably gone up.

 

Is there a 'core' charge or is that outright?

 

There is a core charge if your core is not recieve within the required time (I believe a month). Core charge is $1000.
