How Much Is Too Much

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what boost range would be safe on a stock 13b with roughly 60,000 miles on it? I'm new to the rotary world and I don't want do anything stupid like putting nitrous on twin turbo 350z with a stock bottom end, but thats another story about someone that I know. I haven't picked up boost gauge yet, but it is at the top of my too buy list. I plan on installing a built motor in the future. I want to enjoy the car for awhile, and I don't want to risk damaging a good core engine.

Thanks
Rob

10 psi... stock, leave it alone, or you'll be doing to new motor sooner then you want. plus, you need management before you start boosting up.... sorry to be blunt.... but at least I didn't tell you to seach..

actually the 350z is a very nicely built car stock, it is quite the performance bargain i hear.

Get the boost guage, and if you plan on doing many bolt-ons, get a boost controller to keep it at stock levels (10 psi). That's as safe as it gets with the stock ECU and still plenty of fun. Check the FAQs at the top of this section before you do anything to it.
