some guy over at tripoint saw my original cloth 93' r1 seats sitting on the floor after i had them removed and replaced with some new recaro racers, and wants to buy them. i really have no clue what to ask for them, i was thinking somewhere in the ball park of $200 a piece.

 

if they are in good condition i would say 350-400 with rails and sliders.

 

I have no idea what the stock seats are worth, but I was wondering how those Recaros feel compared to the stock seats. I never really see people change out the stock seats unless they race the car.

 

Entire seats, specials, from Mazdaformance.com, for 89-91 go for 650. I would expect the same for mint FD seats.

 

the recaros...well my driver seat is a racer SP-G, with the full head restraint loops. i must say the recaro shells are very narrow, im 150lbs, 30" waste and the seat fits very snug. good for me but anyone over a 32" waste would probably be failry uncomfortable. my passenger seat is a normal profi SP-G and is wider then my racer but still rather snug. so much for any of my friends bigger the 160lbs riding shotgun, but i look at the bright side, this way i keep ballast weight down and it just gives me an excuse to keep a little sub 125lb chick as a shotgun partner
