He had a thread here as well claiming he wasn't going very fast and he didn't really know why he lost control and flipped it....

It wasn't even a turn, a very very slight bend and I didn't expect a divit/dip in the road.
At least the truth came out.

Has anyone verified the accuracy of the speedos with GPS?

I've had mine a half dozen or so times to 150 and more, one of which touched 160. Car was/is bone stock.

Ive gone 155. Havent had the ***** to go any faster. The car was more than willing to do it, but I was not. I usually get on it through a gear pretty much everytime I take it out though.

Im stunned his car (Hardhitter) is still around myself. Anyone that wrecks an 8 and then buys an FD is just asking for trouble(death, injury). I seem to remember it wasn't his money though.

I havent pushed my car hard at all. Too afraid to find the limit on public roads. The one time I attempted to go fast the drivers side headlight cover flew off at around 120mph(that will wake you up). I know my FD can turn better than my 8 but I'm just not confident around turns yet.

I'm pushing my car too hard... I can hear the chasis making strange noises when I corner it at auto-x. SM2 is a tough class

When nobody's looking, a couple of times a week I'll run up through 2nd gear and half of 3rd WOT Acceleration is the best. Lateral or straight line I don't wring the car out around corners on the street. Top speed is no fun for me. That's a really easy way to kill yourself or someone else IMHO. Unless you're on a wide open road with no one around... but I would like to believe that those who track their car on a road course really stress the crap out of every component on the car.
