Spent 13800 for my R-1 with 63000 miles in early 2001. Spent more than that in mods and stuff since. Carfax reported a major engine claim at 33000 or so, I am sure a engine was done then, KDR confirmed later.

You'll wanna ask whether it's an auto or not. Good deal for a manual... assuming it's not smoking profusely!

I paid 15k for my 94 touring 5 speed with 51000 miles on it. It was totally stock and didn't need any work (other than mods! ). I just sold it for 14k with all the basic mods done to it. I think you will be able to find a nice FD for 15k. Good luck!

Looks like I will be spending 20+ on a car with a rebuilt and a bunch of mods, looking at two cars now that are in that area. I think its better to go with car that has some things on it to save a little cash.

Yeah, I dug this up...

$9,400 for my completely stock 93' silver touring with red leather back in 2003. It had 126K on the original motor and tranny and actually ran fine.

I Sold it to a friend and a year and a half later I bought it back from him for $14,500 with a fresh street ported motor and a downpipe.

I stopped counting at $75,000.00 it's just too depressing going in to new Corvette pricing.

My car was 100% factory, $16k for mine, and I went to Iraq to get the money to buy it =P Wish I could go again to buy the rest of the parts I need. I've spent roughly $10-12K in parts and only some of it is installed, waiting for the rest of the things I need for my rebuild swap/single conversion.

The original owner paid 33K off the showroom floor. Ten years and 6.5K miles later, I paid 27K. I would have paid more.
