I am thinking about just parting the car out. It is a 94 Touring, Red, 5spd, Feed Type II front, Racing Beat sides, carbon fiber hood, Rotary Extreme Lights, new paint, no accidents, 82k on the body, base model cloth seats and stock leathers too, -8 stainless feed and -6 stainless return lines installed. Is $9000 too high for the body?

$9000 is a stretch but might be possible if the car is as good as it looks from the photos (inside and out) and all remaining components are perfect.

If you figure $6k for a rebuilt engine and used turbos and and a tranmission and other bits, you get to $15k or so, which is a resonable though unspectacular price for a car with 82k miles.

9k is high. A shell will usaly sell for 5-6k. The extras are nice but most people are not going to pay 3-4k extra for them.

i want to sell the whole car but i will not get what i want out of it unless i part it out. the tranny is a 5spd. the car itself will stay intact but the r85 and stuff will get parted.

if you wait for the spring, you can probably get some more $$ out of the deal. selling a car this time of year is rough.
