Question How much boost should I expect in a non sequential set up?

How much boost should I be getting in a non sequential set up?

I have an early Japanese FD that is standard except for a non sequential turbo conversion. What sort of PSI should I be expecting?

If the original pills are in the vac lines 10 psi. If the pills were removed you'll see 7-8 psi (spring pressure) without a boost controller (with a boost controller you can set it back to stock 10 psi). This is all assuming that you have the original main cat in place and aren't seeing boost creep.

Thanks Prophet. Yes still have cat in place. Was a little surprised to find only 7psi when I was expecting 10!

Surely I must be running rich then? Do I have any cheap options do I have for getting it back up to 10 psi?

Do the pills need to be removed for the conversion and not why would my pills have been removed?
