here's an idea of RX-7s in 94. This touring was fully loaded, including auto-trans.

The MSRP on my '95 PEP was $41,400, but I paid $37,500, which was supposed to include black carpet and black leather seats (originally MBM w/tan leather). They then found out they couldn't deliver a couple weeks after the sale and had to credit me $1,100, so technically I paid $36,400 + tax.

I asked them to save the window sticker while we were doing the paperwork, but of course they inevitably threw it in the trash and "couldn't find it".

Apparently they couldn't drive for ****... they only made it around the track 1/4 second faster than a fireturd when driving the FD.

Exactly 1K different than andrew above...huh?
Weird. Here is the breakdown on mine:

Base price- $32,900
Touring package- $3,500
Leather seating- (No charge with touring package)
Floor mats- $70
Ca emissions- $75
Destination charge- $375

Total- $36,920

Check this out, I guess after a few months or so (3,518 miles), the original owner decided to get rid of the car and get a Lexus. Where the new owner (guy who owned it before me) purchased the car for $29,336.53.

Does anyone else remember the great Mazda "hail storm" in '93. I just happened to pull into the dealer (driving my '88 GXL) to "take a look" and drove away an hour later in a new '93 BB Touring for $26k! Mazda had collected on the insurance, and some of the cars didn't have a mark on them! If only I got such a deal on my second engine. . .and third engine. . .and turbos. . .etc., etc. lol I guess you just have to love them!

Concur. I believe I saw a price of @ $43,000 for the touring model back in the day.
