How many people owned your FD before you?
Just curious to see how often FD's change hands. I'm the 4th owner of my 94 VR FD. The first 2 owners were older men, the person I bought my FD from was a 22 year old guy.

I dunno..heaps? Maybe some people in Japan had them, then imported here to Australia by someone who happened to lived in Japan for a year or so, then to this italian guy, another asian, and then me.
I wish i didnt buy that FD, because with the money I paid, what I had was a car with lots of problem. Not engine-wise but more like trashed interior/exterior, and was once involved in an accident (didn't know untill i bought it) which makes all the exterior unbalanced. Now I have to save up about A$3500 to respray the whole car whereas I can use that money to get a set of new suspension, or intercooler/radiator/ECU combo.

If you don't mind please add a brief history and the amount of money you paid.
I've noticed the value of these cars has remained the same for approx 6 years or so which being an owner of a few is REALLY COOL
I'm the third owner of my track car. It's a CYM with 150k miles on it. Pretty much from the day it was born it's been a track car. That's a lot of miles at 100 plus miles an hour. My little baby likes to run. She had her hair died candy apple red but fortunately the 2nd owner had some sense and made her a true blonde again hehe. Paid 21k Aug 2004
I'm the 3rd owner of my daily driver with 22k miles on it. The original owner drove it 13k miles from 93 to 95 the 2nd owner drove it approx 10 miles each Sunday for 10 years LOL I bought it in late May with 19,021 miles on it and proceeded to put 2k street miles and 1k track miles on it in a little over 3 months. This car drives better than most new cars and it's 13 years old. Not a squeak or a rattle. I've owned lots of these cars and this is without question the nicest one I've ever owned. Paid 18k and it's worth every penny.

It Just Feels Right
One. She worked for the same company and I remember when she bought it. She had every service record. Once she hooked up with her current boyfriend, an apex seal blew. He didn't believe you needed to change the oil every 3-5k miles. It sat in their garage for 5 years. I bought it for 6k. I figured that was a fair price knowing it would need an engine.
It had 70000 miles on it. I dropped a reman in it and it has 72000 on it now.

well i'm the third ower of mine. i don't know the age of the first owner but the second was in his mid thirties. he bought it in 00 with 82,XXX on it then blew the engine in 02 at 91,XXX and drove it 6,XXX mile until he sold it to me in june 05 with 97,650 on the clock. He stated he hardly ever did WOT with it and was a weekend driver that really wasn't used that much b/c he had a baby in 04. well as soon as i had it on the road back to my house 150miles away i did a couple of WOT runs only t0 110mph(i wanted her to strech her legs a bit). since i've had her, she sees WOT often and now has 103,000 on it. I DD with it so i take care of her and have done little power mods to keep the reliablity up but soon it we'll have a single in it to get rid of the seq. twins. But her hair has been changed from chaste white to super white(blinding) and as had a face lift in the way of a RE Amemiya N1 kit. i've enjoyed this car every second i've owned it. The only thing i don't like it the payments b/c this is the first car i've ever had to get a loan for inorder to buy it but i make a check out for triple the payment in hopes to pay it off by the begining of next year. I paid 12,500 for her i would have to say she's also worth every penny. just can't wait to get the lean off of her so i can truely call her mine!

The engine blew at 116k, reman streetport plus extras $6k. I bought the car at 125k for $10k. But I think I got a pretty good deal. The car was listed on several times over 4-5 months on the board. The initial asking price was $13.5k.

I'm the one and only owner. Leased my VR 93 base in July 1993. When the lease was up 4 years later I bought the car for $13,200. It's been a great car - only car I've ever bought (and I've bought many!) that I just can't part with...

i am the 3rd owner....heres my history car was originally red. and was driven until about 72,000 miles when the motor blew...it was then sold to a motorsports shop and sat for 6 years....finally a new crate engine was put in and built to what it is today...they broke in the first 1000 miles on it... and put a new clutch and painted the car CYM...i got the car with boost problems not knowing....the primary was down to only 7psi max fixed that with the pills not being in the lines...now the secondary isnot working correctly so im taking the precat off and putting a downpipe on in suspects the pre cat is clogged and intake on as well.. right now there are about 74,000 miles on it...so thats the story of this car purchased in aug of 05

Constant threat
I'm the 2nd owner of my '93 Montego Blue. The first was the wife of the dealership's owner. My car led a pretty pampered life, with the only 'problem' being the bitch evidently couldn't judge her distance when parallel parking next to a curb, as my right side wheels have a few dings/gouges in them...
