Yeah, tell 'em efini is an Italian car designer, just like Shelby was for Ford !

Or get one of those 007Bond License plate flippy thingies, and make one for your emblems, and then stick Ferrari, Benz, and Efini's on there, that way you have your bases covered, just about anywhere !

man you guyz all say that you would chose your 7 over your girl any day but I would beg to differ. If you married guyz wife said that you need to get rid of it with no and buts or ifs who would win?

Kisune, i'm not married (yet, will be in november) but here's my answer anyways... if she said i HAD to get rid of the car, then it goes, as long as there is a decent reason... like, we need the money for food and/or house. if its a stupid a** reason like, "you have to sell the car so i can buy more shoes" then HELL NO!

fortunately though, here come this "ifs, ands, and buts" my fiancee really likes my car and appreciates how much i enjoy having it to tinker on. she is a little little concerned about how "unreliable" they seem to be (had no probs with mine yet... knock on wood) BUT IF i'm willing to purchase and drive a civic-esque car sometime in the next year or so, then its all good i know that she'd never make me get rid of it unless we absolutely had to.

i hate civics, my ex used to drive one... to me, they are the only thing worse than a PT Cruiser... every time i see a PT i wish i had a brick to throw through the window.

Well, it really depends on how hot she is and if she is good at certain "tasks"

Besides, letting her have her way that early in the game is a sure way of her gaining control.

I know a few guys that are "ALPHA MALES" and told the gals that the 7's stay, like it or not.

They made sure that the GF/wife knew WHO IS THE MAN of the house.

ANd guess what? They have great marriages.

Women respect that more than u letting them walk over u.

Just look at Donald Trump.

U think he lets his bitches tell him to sell his copter or other things?

Hells no!

my fiancee can't drive a stick and is afriad to learn on my belov'ed FD... definitely a smart decision... so basically, my car will be safe for a long time plus, she thinks its too small, so she doesn't feel very safe riding in it, let alone if she were ever driving alone

I know one girl that has an FD, an BB R1 with a T-78 and a Electomotive ECU...

...oh..wait, not, she totaled it going STRAIGHT on and interstate(I-4) in Orlando after owning it for less than 3 months...AFTER I spent about 7 hours putting a damn GReddy front mount in the thing for FREE!!

Just not that many girls that can drive, ****, there's not that many guys that can drive a high HP RX-7.

A few years ago I was in LA visiting a friend and saw a woman drive past in a blue FD with a bunch of FEED stuff mounted, but not yet painted.

She was a pretty little thing (Asian) but the the girl I was visiting isn't in to cars too much.

I always wondered if she was on the forum.

Sound like someone anybody here knows?

I just wanted to say "nice car"

I have already proven that I will not give up my hobby for the sake of anyone else. It is MY hobby. It is part of what makes me who I am. Telling me to give up MY hobby is telling me to change who I am. I am not going to change. I didn't want her to change.

Conclusion: I told her to find someone without a hobby.

Just remember:
6.6 billion people in the world.
3.3 billion women.
If 1 doesn't like you for everything you are... Who cares?

I've had my FD since I was 18 I'm 25 now, that's 7 years. I've had a good half a dozen GF's during that time. Girl's come and go, rx7's are forever. haha not really, but I will NEVER sell my car just cause a girl tells me to, if she even had the nerve to tell me to sell it I can already tell you it won't work out. And any girl that would say the car or her is definitely not the right girl for me. I've got a crotchrocket too and it's not goin anywhere. I'm not a complete ******* about it, but you can't let girls take control like that. The girl I've been dating now for a lil over a year, makes jokes about the car being my first GF and then her. I just say nah, you and the car tie. She knows I'll never sell it, and fortunately she's fine with that.

P.S. not one of the girls I've dated during that time has driven the car
