I drove 800 miles to buy the FD I wanted... then got it towed 3000 miles to my new home. Sometimes I think about it and it just seems silly. But if I had sold it... I would probably get another one anyways.

Wow, you got the '99+ wing painted and installed allready. Looks real good Waysho!

CymGirl never posted any pics and there were a few others but I think they got scared away by us immature perverts.

My GF likes my car, hates that I spend so much money on it. She's not jealous of it or anything... She's got keys to more badass cars than I own...

She currently has a blown 350 powered 23 t-bucket, a stock 67 vette w/ 427 (435hp), 2 56 bel airs and then some. There's also another t-bucket but it's more a parts car than anything else.

both her and her dad say I should get a real car... And they have another blower motor (350) just sitting in case she wanted to get another car or if I got a car and wanted to buy a motor.

Anyways, long story short, she lets me do what I want with my car and she does what she wants with hers. We both get along great that way.

My g/f drives my car almost every day. She used to like Mustangs, but driving my -7- changed all that.

My GF was jealous of my '94 untill I wrecked it then she missed riding in it, and the fact that we'd go places together and do things on the weekend, which all pretty much came to a crawl after the wreck, and 1 month or so went by, and she said to me, I'd really like it if you'd get another one BINGO !!! And here I am a much more carefull driver

BTW she was not in the car when I flipped it, which helped, cause otherwise she'd been scared to even get near one again

Here FDs are barely available for mens and REAL drivers, but even if, a girl will never buy it.
If you can find a girl addicted to sports car, she will 100% sure buy something like BMW Z3, AUDI TT or at least PORSCHE BOXSTER, if you can call them sports-car.....
The FD here is almost completely unknown, girls are attracted by them BUT after playing around a little while start asking "Hey, I cannot see that black horse on yellow background, where is it? is it a new model from them??"
No it is a 92 RX7
"What???"
a Japan car
"Uh, what a shame, bye!"

Yeesh.. I guess there are a ton of jaded women in Modena ( but that's expected I suppose) being so near to Ferrari's factory and all...

-Kib <-- simply must go to his motherland to the Ferrari factory before he dies.

I've had my Blk 94" R2 FD for about 4 months now, but I fell in love with it for about 4yrs now. Ever since the sept 99' issue of Sports Compact Car =) This is my first stick shift car, but mainly my autocross practice is on my friend's 240sx. I don't want to waste the tread on the FD until autocross itself.

That was me too! I used to think it was all about power, but when my mustang couldn't handle the S turns and nearly spun out over the mountain, I dropped the GT fast. So I spent months looking for the right FD, and now the turns are much easier with less strain and more grip.

She odviously has no respect for your hobby. I hate **** like that! If I was married, I would support what ever my wife decided to do. Instead of them bitching about your hobby, maybe they should "try" to take some time to learn and understand what makes you like your hobby so much. What better way to bring two people closer together.
