How many cylinders?

Hooking up an HKS Super AFR. For the rpm signal I need to input an amount of cylinders. The more I think about it the more I get confused! Somebody help me! There are 2 rotors, so my first thought was a 2 cylinder. Then I read on an AVC-R install to put 4 cylinders... Then I thought about it some more, and there are 3 cycles per rotor, which would make it a six cylinder!!! AAAHHHH!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Thanks
Chuck

There are 4 spark plugs so it must be a 4 cylinder right?
