How many 94-95 guys still have the stock paint ?
hey guys,
just wondering how many 94-95 guys still have the stock paint on their car. My chaste white still has the stock paint, and its deff in need of a respray which will be getting done this winter (with a top coat of either pearl or blue pearl )
I wanted to see how much better our paint is compared to the 93 guys which for the most part, have all been resprayed by now if they wern't garage queens

mine is a respray, in snow white pearl mica. i think the white color for 94s tends not to be that great, majority of the white fds ive seen have either been repainted or are in desperate need of it.

this is true. I just think white looks bad as soon as its in anything but perfect condition honestly. a color like MB or black even can hide defects a little better like miscoloring and stuff. White is just so hard to hide miscoloring

My 94 PEG has the original white paint, and it is in excellent condition. 56K, and doesn't spend much time in the sun. Always garaged when at home.

'95, still has the original paint in excellent condition. Paint is a weak spot on the FD. I always thought it was cheap and one of the places they saved money on the car. When I had my BMW it was also red. With the two cars parked side by side you could see the quality of the BMW paint was far better even though it was the older car.
I've noticed the plastic side mirrors can fade. One thing I've always done is put that Turtle Wax colored wax on the side mirrors after every time I wash the car. I think it has helped.
The mirrors still look great and match the rest of the car.
