Any one nhow many of us are left these days in the US? Just curious.

this has come up before and it's all just a guess, dont think anybody has actually tracked down the number of registered FD in the US. of course a lot aren't registered. my guess would be 9000 running FDs are left. And a good half of those are in **** up condition. it's sad how some people haven't taken care of these cars.

 

Thanks ttb. Sounds interesting. 9000 sounds like a lot still which is nice to know. These cars are fantastic. I wish we could have a national event. Know of any???

 

Here you go. This is one of my sources I'll be using when I pick up my FD-3S later this summer. It lists the specs/count/etc. (Is this place reliable..seems so to me since everyone mentioned something that is mentioned on this site)

there are exactly 6725.3 3rd gen RX7's left as of 6:00 PM today.

 

How did you find that out? and where does the ".3" come from?

 

the .3 comes from V8 transplants, not really an rx7, so they only get 1/3 credit. I found this out from going door to door across the US. Took forever!
