engine miles....

I've got 77K and everything is still like new....(knocking wood)
Absolutely no problems.

My FC had about 137K and never had a wrench on it.

I too always change my oil at about 1500 miles, cheap insurance, I say!

if you are asking about turbo rotary?
2nd gen turbII=2 motors in 82k miles. (2nd motor whas when i bought it and gave it to a friend in need) never got to drive it

my first fd was at around 78k when it got stolen.
my current one has about 9k on it. oh wait.....but this one is the 5th motor in 52k miles in this car.....my buddy makes fun and says that instead of rotate your tires every 10k miles, just rotate your motors. but i make fun of him cause he drives dsm's.

1st Gen (no mods)
0-170k+ 1 motor (sold)

2nd Gen Turbo
120k 1st motor
120-170k 2nd motor (many mods)

3rd Gen
0-32k 1st motor
47k now

If I get 80k+ out of the new one I'll be happy.

100K on second motor. Replaced first at 60K. Previous owner let it overheat- coolant o-rings shot.

65,000 miles on original engine but its on its last leg. Coolant seal is going bad. Time to rebuild. Good thing I have a warranty.

FD3 9560 miles, and God yes on the original engine. Put 600 miles roughly on the car this year, it's put away under it's cover in the garage for the winter. I'll really break lose and put a couple of thousand miles on the car next year.

17k on 2nd engine. Coolant seals toast on first. Could you do this same poll for Stock Turbos ?? That would be interesting to see how long they are lasting. BTW, good poll.

58K on first motor, coolant seals were starting to go. But before they could finish going, I popped an apex seal and then drove it for another 2.5K miles.

5,500 miles on second engine (I'm stupid, was running 15lbs. on upgraded turbos w/ stock intercooler and fuel. But I blew a highly modded Supra TT off the road right before it blew).

Currently just over 2,000 miles on my third engine. This one better last a while

64k on original engine and turbos, still running like a champ. I change the oil every 1500 miles and put that XR-1 (X1-R?)stuff in it I think its called. I also use mobil 1 synthetic. only problems I have had so far (crosses fingers) was a bad water pump and some vacuum leaks.

Wow it's great to see that maybe all these motors don't self destruck at 30-40k.
I have a 93 w/31k and run boost up to 13.5-14 at times. No oil usage and runs great.

original engine died at 70k miles due to the car getting pretty hot on the temp gauge, but not to the point of overheating.the original owner was told the coolant seals were on there way out. 2nd engine has 34k miles and running strong.
