Boughtit for my christmas present in 2002. Intend to keep it for a while. Unless something better shows up (not likely at this price range)
More then $10k invested into it already (half of that from the roadkill accident 2 days after I got the car )

April 2000, closing in quickly on 5 years. It's good to see some people who have owned them more than 2 years speak up..

wow I really feel like a newb I got my first fd june 23d 2002 and then sold it and got my next one october 27th of 2003. I wanted to have a 94 low mile platform to start from with mint interior and I got it. I'm wrapping up my project with little things every day and this car drives too well to even think about selling it. I've thought about it but theres no way I could sell it being so happy with it

14 months. I will keep it forever, or until some1 buys it from me for all the money I have into it as well as my labor.

Got my first one in May of 98. It cought on fire 2 moths later.
Bought my second one in November of 98 and I still have it so that's six years.

I don't plan on selling it, I still love it.

It will be six years in February. I may be selling it soon though as I've decided that I would rather have a racecar as a project. I would probably replace it with a SCCA DSR or F500. Ideally, I would like to build a DSR of my own design. If I bought a chassis, I would love to have the Stohr shown below, but I wouldn't want to spend the $50k. I also like the Cheetah chassis very well, but although it is a competitive car, it's aerodynamics are not exactly state of the art.

Bought mine 8 years and 4 months ago with 13,600 miles on it. Now it's somewhere near 98,xxx miles. I've put less than 5K on it over the past 5 years. I do feel "guilty" for not driving it much anymore and I have thought about selling it at times, just because it's not driven much, but I know if I did get rid of it I wouldn't be happy with anything else. So it'll be around for quite a while!
