formerly my '80: never ran the 6 or so months I had it. It had many issues.
formerly my '88: a couple days for a popped brake caliper (duh moment)
my current '86: a couple weeks, blown transmission.

how long has it been down?? my baby's been down literally half the time ive had her. i think it's easier to keep track of how long she's been runnin...lol. but hey, i love my FD, and i wouldn't have it any other way

my baby's been down since Saturday, August 23, 2003 after racing the new 911 Turbo... and she went from the mechanic straight to the body shop. hopefully she'll be ready in 2 weeks or so, only to sit in the garage for a cpl more weeks cuz it's winter =(

but I must agree, it's the best way to keep the mileage down (although you don't have much choice in this haha)

This thread suports my theory that this forum is nothing more then an emotional suport group for Rotary owners who love but can't drive there car for some reason.

Mine has been down for about two months now, I refuse to let a mechanic work on it and I havn't had the tome becasue of work.

I hope you get your car on the road soon Jim. All of us here in Washington want to see it . Maybe you can make ABF 05' . You can borrow one of my 7's if you want to go this year . My last 93 was down for 4 days figuring out how to install the Greddy FMIC, and down for 1 day for a tune up. I put 10,000 miles on it without a problem and sold it to invest in real estate and now I am getting another one (or three actually).
