How Long has your car been down?

I think its pretty commonplace for our cars to see a little down time each year. For those of us that are in college that time is even greater. I had my engine blow on me Last January. Since then I have replaced:

Engine: Reman
Tranny: Reman
Turbo: Single Turbo Conversion
PFC
Front Mount
Radiator
Complete Fuel Setup
CWest Body Kit
Complete BLack interior Conversion
AC/PS Removal
Painted Engine Bay
And preparing to paint car

And everything else that comes along with those tasks...

So how long has yours been down?

MY 7 stays running. My 626 has been down for a long time. I think it needs a new timing belt, but it's a big pain in the ***.

When something needs fixing, the car doesn't leave me stranded. It has never stopped running. Most of the time that I can't drive it is because I took it apart to mod something.

Well, considering that I had a BPU+ Supra or an '02 Z06 to keep me occupied during most of that time, the wait hasn't been that bad.

My FD was down for 5 monthes waiting for a turbo rebuild (parts to get back), 755 miles after turbos were put back on I have a major coolent leak, I havent had time and the weather has been to cold to realy look for it but I think its going to be real bad, real bad, real bad. I think I am actualy considering a V8 conversion. All this low milage **** is for the birds, the orig. motor was replaced at 50k and this one has 18k on it.

Mine was down for about 3 months this year, not including garaged time during the winter (for the past 3 weeks).

my car has been down for over a year. . . and its all my fault. i got stupid and wanted a "really cool car". im still gonna "do everyting myself", but i doubt ill be making too many more custom parts after this intercooler installation is overwith. sheesh. . . what a headache. . .

I waited 1 and a half year to get my engine rebuild!!(long story)A friend was gonna rebuild it for me but after 6 months he changed his mind decide not to do it for me, and during that time he managed to do the porting and they weren't useable because of it.
So I found another set of side plates and took it to a specialist.
Good things take time I guess
