I start it up and let it idle for 30 sec then go. But I don't get it above 3k until its fully warmed up. As for cooling down I just don't get on the boost for a couple minutes before I get to my destination and then let it idle for 30 seconds before I turn it off.

Start, back out of the driveway and go. No boost for about 3-4miles or until its warmed up.
Last 1-2miles no boost before shutting it off.

Well I have an aftermarket temp gauge so I turn it on tap the gas to cancel the Accelerated warm up system. Let it idle for about 15-30 seconds. Then go not passing 3000 rpm's until the car hits at least 160 F. Get an Aftermarket gauge and you'll see how long it really takes to get up to temp.

i start the car and go. I dont boost or go above 3k rpm till the temp guage is in the middle. Simple as

i also drive slow for last couple of miles...let her cool down, then idle for 30 seconds (time i takes to remove my stereo face and gather my stuff when i stop!)

Just need to remember that though your engine has warmed up, the rest of your car has not - gearbox/diff etc

i actually dont go all out even when the needle is at the middle - i dont boost at all till the needle moves, then i boost a little bit, and a little more gradually. i.e i will halfway throttle up to 5k when the car is warm ish, then maybe 3/4 throttle up to 7k....

I like to warm my car up nice and smooth like :oD

i dont trust the stock needle at all..i know its "somewhat" precise at the beginning..but even when my stock needle is pointed to normal operating, ill look at my aftermarket gauge and its still sitting under 140f (which is the min)..

so i dont pay no mind to the stock gauge at all, i dont care what it says..ill stare at my aftermarket gauge..once it starts moving, i know the car is almost to complete operating boost mode

I let it idle 30 seconds to one minute, then drive gently (no boost, and not above 3k rpm) until I see normal operating temp on the PFC, 79-81C.

if i have the time, let it run utnil 82 deg celsius. if i don't, i drive right away, no boost until 82 deg celsius.

i would say i have a good running car, but i have flooding problem when shutting the car off cold. if i have to move my car (it's annoying) i have to wait till it warms to 80 deg before shutting off to avoid flooding. heard the problem is leakey injectors?

That's very strange I've had 4 Rx7's and none had flooding problems. Granted the first 3 were NA Fc's but My FD has no problem either.

Peoples always complain about flooding and i'm like HUH?
