87K motor popped on the dyno. Turbos seemed fine the whole time. Just switched to non-seq but never could enjoy it. I'm getting the motor street ported and a set of BNR stage 3's while she's down.

My perfectly running original motor had 103.5K miles (330RWHP @ 12psi, 14in vacuum at 950RPM) when Zavier and I pulled it apart at the RX7Store. No carbon seized seals, or any wear damage to the plates or housings, just a bit of delamination on the housings at the very edge, when the housing meets the side plates. New housings, a race port, and 400 more miles of break-in and I'll be grinning ear to ear.

Turbos dumped at 99K.

Original motor and turbos went 102,543 miles before failing. Motor died of failed water seal. Turbos were dying long before the water seal went. 15,000 miles on current street ported motor and J-spec twins. Big grinning all the time NOW

O-rings failed at 78K; engine rebuilt with 3 mm seals. Original turbos still pulling a strong 13 psi at 117K miles.

Old car turbos were going at 110k, motor went soon after. New car second set of turbos at 82k, pending what I decide to do a 3rd set might be on the way, don't know yet though.

Oring failure at 76k with my original engine, now have 14k on this 2nd engine. Turbos still ok at 90k but anticipating replacement soon.
