How high of an idle with a leaking vac hose?

I've had a high idle problem on my car, and I think it's the LIM gasket. I'm in the process of tearing just about everything off the engine to replace this, and I found a vacuum line that was off. It goes to the fuel pressure regulator.

How much of an idle problem will this cause? What problems would be caused by having no vacuum to the pressure regulator?

I don't think this is causing my high idle problem, but I'm interested to hear your opinions. Its a REALLY high idle (2200 rpm with the lights on, 1500 with them off), so I don't think a small vac line leak would make it go that high.

Thanks,

Paul
